About the Event
Strongly influenced by the Tactical Combat Casualty Care guidelines utilized by the U.S. Department of Defense, this course is designed to teach law enforcement and first responders life saving medical techniques to treat casualties with life threatening injuries. This course will cover the three principles of TECC, such as, Direct Threat Care, Indirect Threat Care, and Evacuation Care. Techniques taught will consist of applying tourniquets and hemostatic agents to control massive hemorrhage, airway management, chest trauma management, and casualty evacuation.
