Intro to Red Dot Sight Pistol

As firearms technology advances, more and more individuals are starting to equip their pistols with red dot sights. Many are installing red dot sights and employing them without having proper training or practice with pistol mounted RDS optics. This 8 hour introductory course will teach shooters how to better familiarize themselves with the differences in use of iron sights vs. RDS equipped handguns, how to choose proper reliable equipment, and become more proficient in the RDS pistol system. This course is great introduction for Law Enforcement considering the use of a RDS pistol for Duty use.

REQUIRED EQUIPMENT: Handgun with RDS (limited amount of loaner guns available, contact us if needed). At least 3 magazines and magazine pouch, Holster must attach via the belt (paddle holsters are not allowed). 500 rounds of handgun ammunition. Eye protection and electronic ear protection. Water and snacks recommended.

WHO CAN ATTEND: Open to all law abiding citizens

PREREQUISITES: Must be proficient with basic firearms fundamentals and safety. It is recommended that students have completed a basic handgun course prior to enrollment. This is a fast paced course and not meant for inexperienced shooters.
